Louise's background is in managing large scale theatre and circus shows; and for over a decade, she was a card holding member of the overworked-hustlers club.
Through dedication to her cycle awareness practice, Louise completely transformed her life; and now she's on a mission to help others do the same. Her passion, enthusiasm and deep love for this work knows no bounds.
Louise spent several years on tour with Cirque du Soleil, and she leads workshops for organisations around the world as Red School's Cycle Aware Workplace Facilitator. She is also a certified fertility awareness educator, though not currently teaching.
In June last year, Louise became a mum to her baby, Poppy. Contrary to how she imagined she would feel, she doesn’t miss her menstrual cycle. Rather she is glad to have been schooled by it and feels it’s prepared her for the vast void of new motherhood, holding the question ‘who am I now?’ and knowing that it’s ok not to know!
Her special skill is getting men excited (even jealous!) about the menstrual cycle and her husband, Jonny, is her biggest supporter. He’s even prepared a special menarche hamper for when her postpartum period arrives!
Louise is a graduate of the Menstruality Leadership Programme 2021 and is a Menstruality Mentor. She is very much looking forward to completing the course again and experiencing it from a different place along the menstruality journey.
